October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. More women die of breast cancer than our annual road toll.It's a scary thought. All through October, iconic landmarks around the world will be lit in pink.These include the Sky Tower in Auckland, Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington, Christchurch Cathedral, Dunedin Municipal Chambers Clock Tower, Invercargill's Water Tower, The Empire State Building in New York, Sydney Opera House, Niagara Falls, Panama Canal, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and London Bridge. If you would like to show your support, you can get a pink ribbon from your local supermarket, or ASB Bank.
