Dougie has moved to a bigger and better house!!!

You read the heading correctly.I have moved from my old house in Thorndon after the landlord sold it to some rather nasty people.I now live in Hataitai with one of my work collegues parents and another flatmate who works at Wellington International Airport.I moved there on Tuesday 21st December and absolutely love it there. I will post more details and may include a photo or two of it on here once I am no longer using internet cafes.lol Anyways...internet cafe time is about to run out... Take care of yourselves and I shall see you all very soon. Much love and respect.... Dougie

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Hey there everyone.Just thought I'd leave you all a Christmas message here on my website during my none working and moving breathing time.lol For those of you who are going away for Christmas, I wish you all a safe journey to your destination and hope you have an enjoyable time away. For those of you who have to work like I do during the Christmas holidays...I hope you get to spend precious time with those close to you and when you do get to go on holiday...you enjoy it. To my family, I hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas, and I promise that next year we will all have Christmas together.Christmas is the time for families and friends to be together...and if Santa was actually real and could make wishes come true....I'd ask him to bring my family and friends together for a special Christmas lunch and dinner. Love you all lots and I will talk to you soon. And to my gorgeous boy Adam....I wish we could spend our first Christmas together this year, but I know you have other more important things going on in your life right now, so I hope things get better soon.Have a safe and prosperous Chrisatmas my baby and may the new year bring something special for both of us. Miss you lots To me, Christmas is a time for giving presents....especially the ones you can't wrap. See you all soon. xx Dougie

A True Musical Legend arrives in New Zealand for one show only.

Wellington will have a music legend for one night only on Wednesday 6 December 2006.Sir Elton John will bring his sensational new "The Captain and The Kid Tour" to the Westpac Stadium for one show only.It will be Sir Elton's first visit to New Zealand since 1998 when he performed on stage with Billy Joel in their record-breaking "Face To Face Tour" in Auckland and his first visit to Wellington since 1984. "The Captain and The Kid Tour" was originally scheduled for a series of indoor shows in Australia, but Sir Elton was persuaded to do one show in Wellington. It will be his only "big stadium performance" in Australasia. During the two hour and forty minutes of Elton John magic.....you will be taken on a trip down memory lane. With a career spanning close to 40 years....Sir Elton has had more than his fair share of music success."The Captain and The Kid" is the 44th album of Sir Elton's career. He is the most enduringly successful singer/songwriter of his generation. He has sustained an inimitable career: scoring at least one Top 40 hit a year between 1976 and 1999.Some of favourites are Candle in the Wind 1997(Diana - Princess of Wales Tribute)(which became the fastest selling single ever), Don't Go Breaking My Heart(a duet he did with Kiki Dee,RuPaul and The Spice Girls),Don't Let The Sun(Go Down On Me)(duet with George Michael),Saturday Night's Alright(For Fighting),Crocodile Rock,I'm Still Standing,Daniel,Circle of Life and Can You Feel The Love Tonight(which won Grammy Awards for Best Song and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance). For those of you who have front row seats.....I completely envy you for paying so much and for being so so close. And for those of you who managed to get time off work to go....I also envy you.But hey...I'm sure it will be the best concert you've ever been too, and remember.....I'm Still Standing...Ionger than I ever did...Maybe I'm a true survivor..... Concert Openers are Wellington's sensational duo "Pearl".Check them out www.pearlband.com Have a great time and keep me posted.
